Iphone additions

We upgraded last week! Our family is growing so our car did too! We love our Sienna!

Zack spent the next few days after buying it sneaking out to sit in it in the garage. One time I asked him why he keeps going out and he hugged the car and said, "I just love our new car!"
This little lady is learning to get to hard to reach places! She also loves to steal the boys toothbrushes!
 Play day with the Johnson's!
We got Nielson's frozen custard after hiking Muller Park Trail.

 Grumpy gus
Terrible pictures, but she loves her baby dolls! She carries them around everywhere with her and calls them, "Bebe!"

Catch-up Time!

A few Saturday's ago, we met my parents and Andrew's family at the Muller Park Trail in Bountiful. We hiked up for a mile or so. The kids love hiking and the leaves were starting to change which made for a pretty hike!

These past few weeks we have been hitting the fields 4 nights a week. The boys both love to play and really look forward to their nights they get to play. Zack has really enjoyed his first time playing. Since he is one of the oldest he really is having fun. He scores every game and is so proud of himself when he does!
Levi is one of the youngest so it is fun to see fighting to win those bigger kids! He really loves soccer and he tells me how much he loves me coaching. His team is undefeated so far. His favorite position is forward and goalie. This old soccer player is having so much fun filling my nights watching my boys have fun doing the same thing!

On Monday, September 22nd 2014, we attended Grandma Hegerhorst's Funeral. I will miss my Oma. She was such a sweet lady. Always positive and always showed her love to us! She was an amazing example of hard work, dedication to her family and the gospel. She served faithfully in her callings and she worked hard for the family candy company, Toms candy. She loved book working, sewing, and was a killer card game player. I loved playing spoons with her! It was a day to celebrate her life and her sweet reunion with Grandpa. We will love and miss her!

Today, Makayla had her first haircut by mom! Hopefully I didn't butcher it! Her top hair was an inch or so longer than the bottom hair coming in so I evened it out. I have put it off for awhile afraid to touch it! My baby is getting so big!

Exciting News!!!!

To add to our busy new schedule, we are so so so excited to be adding to our little family! Well, I guess it is not so little anymore! Baby #4 is cooking! Due date of March 15th 2015. The day I found out we were out shopping and I took the test at lunch when we met Dan at Costco. As we were shopping I told Dan I had to show him something. I pulled the test half out of my purse to show him. He was taken back a little! 1. I showed him in Costco in such a, "hey I got something to show you" way! And 2. He was not expecting that so fast! Makayla was a little bit of a wait so we are thrilled to not have to play that waiting game! I had my first appointment around 9 weeks and the boys were so excited to see the baby on the TV wiggling around. Zack guesses it is going to be a boy and Levi guesses it is a girl. We will see!

When I went in yesterday, being 13 1/2 weeks, the doctor tried to tell me what it is. They do ultrasounds every visit at this office. You can usually tell around 14-15 weeks, so the nurse told me not to listen to him. However, he did get many good shots of this little peanut and he gave his best educated guess. He seemed pretty certain too that we are having a little BOY! We will go back in 4 weeks and will really see if that is the case, but there definitely was something there! We love our boys and will be so excited either way! I was so relieved to hit the 14 mark and to see such a healthy looking baby kicking around on that screen. Measuring great! We are so blessed!
 Bum shot

As of lately...

We have been pretty busy around here and just trying to keep our heads above water when some of us got sick in our house! Ok, mom and Makayla got sick. But, when mom is sick it makes for VERY long days! I am still trying to kick this nasty cold. Makayla thankfully got a very mild case of hand foot and mouth disease which has been floating around our neighborhood. Yay! She had a few blisters on her feet, hands, and bottom. But, they were small and only a handful. So, she acted fine and proceeded as if nothing was wrong. Which is good because I felt like crap! We survived our confinement for over a week now trying to keep her away from others as much as possible. That is hard when Dan is busy with work and his calling and I had the boy's school stuff, volunteering, and coaching soccer games! We survived! Now hopefully that is behind us for a long long time!
We have been a little more caved in due to the rain lately, but the boys did enjoy running through it!

 Spectator from the window!
My team minus 2 players. I love coaching, it is actually pretty fun! I don't like worrying about who will be watching the younger 2 kids while I am coaching on Wednesdays. Dan has had to sacrifice several weeks with the youth to come take the kids. Thankfully Kellie is here to save my bacon every now and then. We only have 2 more Wednesdays, whew!

More poor sick baby. Her first and only day where she acted sick, she had a fever all day. So did I! So we snuggled all day. I can't complain too much about that!
As you can tell the sick day ended quick and Makayla jumped right up and back to herself. This girl is becoming quite the little mischief maker. She eats EVERYTHING! I have caught her either eating or trying to eat SO many things. She even managed to get a dishwasher tablet out of the container and started to eat a piece. I caught her and she spit it back out. But, man! She empties all the cupboards, dumps all the soap containers into the tubs, and is the biggest mess maker! She unrolls the toilet paper rolls, pulls the floss out of the container, and dumps every cup she can reach on the table. She LOVES the toilet bowl brush and heaven for bid the boys leave a toilet lid up! It is a good thing she is so cute:)
She is also becoming the biggest copy cat. The other day the boys were both on the floor crying, mom made them turn of a show or something, so Makayla, who hates when they cry, walked up and bent over with her hands on her knees and put her face right up to each of their's and tried to talk to them. When both of the boys did not acknowledge her she decided to join them. She plopped down next to them and proceeded to fake cry. It was too funny!
So when Zack got his backpack on for school she got one too!

Miss independent did not want to ride in the cart. She had to push it.
With a break from our captivity of rain and illness the kids played on the playlet often!
Zack doing the Upstart program for preschool aged kids. He loved it at first, it is starting to wear on him though.

First day of Pre-k and the little photo bomber

This anxious boy waited too long for preschool. I kind of wish it would have started when Levi did! The day finally arrived and he was so so so excited. "Mom, you don't get to come with me!" "I get to go BY MYSELF!""Just drop me off and give me a kiss and then go." Obviously, I had to drag him there...NOT!

Traditional Pop tart

Then came the photo bomber. She stood right next to Zack and proceeded to say, "Cheese!" She actually pronounced this one really well, over and over and over! She apparently loves to have her picture taken too. Or she just felt left out:)

Zack was lucky enough to get in with 2 of his church friends. Good luck to their teacher!

We will take this chance to write about my little 16 month old
She is not feeling well today, as well as mom so we have done a lot of snuggling.
She is gaining more personality by the second. Here are a few words she tries to say, some very well and others she just tries!
-Zack (zat)
-Cheese
-All done (ah da)
-Hot (ha)
-Mmmmm when she takes a bite of food
-Catch (ca)
-Stop (top) Not my favorite first words:)
-Down (dow)
-Dada
-That (dat)
-Thank you (da du)
Probably more...just can't think of them!
She still waves and blows kisses, points at everything, shakes her head no and yes, points out her body parts (nose, eyes-blinks, tongue-sticks it out, ears, head, and belly), she will dance around, give kisses and hugs, and she is super helpful and likes to help you do EVERYTHING. We love our Kayla girl!
