Our Kindergarten Graduate!

It is official, we have a Kindergarten graduate on our hands! This year has been a whirlwind and I feel like we finally got used to Levi going to school and it is already over! Yesterday was graduation and today was the last day of school. I will quote part of his teacher's comments on his report card, Term 1: "Levi is such a sweet boy and seems to love school. He is a hard worker and has a great attitude toward school." Term 2: "Levi is very cooperative and is well liked by his peers. He is a very good role model and enjoys learning new things." Term 3: "Levi is a delight to have in class and enjoys learning new things. He is gaining independence and is able to focus on a specific task for longer periods of time." Term 4: "It was such a pleasure to have Levi in my class this year. Thank you for sharing him with me! He is such a great role model and has a positive attitude towards school." Levi came home last week with the "Star Student" awarded by the sub that day. He is such a hard worker and did very well this year. He has learned a lot and never complained (except that he was hungry after school EVERY day!). We are so proud of our buddy and we are so excited to have the summer to play!

First and last day of Kindergarten!
Graduation. They sang the cutest song and every time he would sing, "You can count on me, like 1,2,3, I'll be there....and I know when I need it I can count on you like 4,3,2,  you'll be there," I got teary eyed every time he would point straight at us!

Memorial Day

We headed  down to Grandam and Grandpa's Sunday evening after church just in time for dinner! On Memorial Day we kicked off the morning going out for breakfast and hitting up the park on the way home. We had a family climb up the pyramid (minus Makayla with Grandma!).
After meeting Andrew's family and Krista for lunch, we all headed over to the Lehi Legacy Center to swim. The kids LOVED it! My camera card was full so I only got a few pictures!

That night we had a BBQ with everyone (except Jeni who was at a photo session). Kellie and McKay's family even stopped by on their way back from Vegas. We had a fun volleyball session, the kids watched the new Lego movie, and yummy food!
I love Cash in this picture:)
Dan who can jump, the man has hops! He got that ball even though it looks like he wouldn't!
Grandma becoming all of the kids favorite...wait, she already was.

 Messy baby!

We had a great Memorial Day celebrating with family, thanks to those who sacrificed for us and those who continue to do so. Happy Memorial Day!

Kicking off the holiday weekend

Zack finished out his preschool on Wednesday with a trip to the park and received their diplomas:) They had fun playing for their last day! They have become such cute buddies!
Makayla watching the kids play and eating her popsicle!
We have been outside all week and Makayla LOVES to ride the wiggle car. She has the hugest grin and giggles as we ride.

The boys have entertained themselves and their friends with their squirt guns all week as well. Even without their swimsuits on...
Saturday after some chores, we headed out to hit some balls. We are loving the golfing scene, and finally broke down and bought mom a set so I can actually have some left handed clubs to use! After the driving range they went home and practiced in the backyard. The boys are really getting into it! Fun way to start off the holiday weekend!

Kiddos

I realized this past week that I had not used my camera (just my phone) all month! So, I decided to pull it out when we were just playing in the backyard. That and I felt like an update on the kids was in order!

Makayla-13months old
Makayla just popped out her 2nd tooth on the bottom today. She is pushing her walkers all over the place! She is also crawling all over. She crawled in to the bathroom to play with the toys in there, like she had done many times, but this time decided to crawl into the bathtub! She slid right in and did not like it! She is pulling herself up on stuff and trying to walk around stuff. She is even starting to try to take stumble steps short distances. I give her a month or two and she will be walking! She sleeps all night, plays all day, and takes 1-2 naps a day. She has had several colds this past month and on top of that teething, so she is constantly drooling and having runny noses! She still points at everything and sounds like she is saying, "dis" every time. She leans in when you ask for a kiss, gives high fives, waves, feeds herself, and is getting more and more independent by the day. She still loves to give hugs and being held. She will reach for anyone who is walking by in hopes that they will take her. When Dan got up to conduct last week we sat in the front row (not by choice really), and Makayla sat there every time he got up with arms extended out to him...every time!
 trying to walk to Levi

This is her follow me motion. She does not like to be left, she wants someone with her!
 I loved this picture!!!!

 Zackary- 4 years old

Zack just finished up mommy preschool this last week. He had a lot of fun, and even though mom complained sometimes, I am sure glad we did it! He is signed up for preschool in the Fall with a lady in our ward. He is on lesson 75 of 100 and is really excelling in his reading. He enjoys his homework everyday while Levi does his. He has most simple words memorized now and can sound out many others. He is still obsessed with Legos and has now picked up playing tball and golf a lot. He is my independent, try to do more than a 4 year old should, and stubborn little man who likes to take his time. He is also, so easy, sweet, and so stinking cute and fun to talk to. We had a battle over eating salad for dinner the other night. We went out to grab frosty's that same night and I told him he could not have any unless he ate some salad. Well, at 4 I can FINALLY say he is getting the idea. It is still a battle, but mom wins every now and then now! He ate some salad and got his Frosty:)

Levi- 5 and 3/4 (according to him!)
This kid has 4 more days of Kindergarten left. I really cannot believe it is almost over, which means 1st grade will be here before I know it! I don't know if I am ready for full day! After watching this kid at school, at church, with friends, teammates, and cousins I have to say that Levi gets along with everyone. I heard kids fighting over who got to sit by him on the bus, who got to play catch with him at tball, and sit by him at the dinner table. He tends to attract kids and even ones he does not know very well! He is such a good kid and a great 1st kid! He is extremely helpful with his younger siblings and has such a soft spot for Makayla. He did very well at school this year and has learned so much. He always gets great marks at school and has improved throughout the year. He is becoming a great helper around the house and can handle more responsibility. Why do they have to grow up so fast? He is turning 6 soon, and when he does he will want to be 7 the next day. Stop hurrying it up little man! He has really jumped into tball and as a family we are picking up more on golf. Levi does really well and Dan is excited to sign him up for lessons.

My 3 monkeys in the bucket. Love them to pieces!

Going ons...

We have been pretty busy around here. Dan took a day off to watch the 2 younger ones while I took Levi on his school field trip to the the Zoo. It was a lot of fun! I loved seeing him interacting with his friends at school. They were all worn out at the end. His best bud at school even fell asleep on my lap on the way home! Afterwards we bought a tree for our front yard and hit up the yard work!
Levi started TBall. We have had a lot of fun playing catch and learning the techniques of baseball!
Class Picture. He brought this home and I was laughing so hard at how high his pants are! They made him tuck his shirt in for the picture. Too cute!
This past Friday we were blessed to be able to attend a family in our ward being sealed. It was a first for me to witness little ones in the temple begin sealed, and it was such a neat experience. They are a sweet family and I am grateful that I was able to have that experience. That next morning Dan and the boys went to the ward service project and Dan's mom and I went to Tamee's Bridal Shower. Afterwards, we did yard work and painted our door. While we worked the kids swam! Well, Makayla did for a few minutes before her nap:) We ended the evening with a dinner with several families in our ward. It was a lot of fun to just hang out with them and have our kids play. We will have to do it again!

Happy Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day. Dan and boys cooked me breakfast. Dan got to stay home half the morning. I got a chocolate bar at church. But, most importantly I have 3 of the cutest miracles who remind me how lucky I am for each of them. We got to spend the day before finishing planting a tree (my Mother's Day present) and visiting with each of our Moms! We started out in West Valley visiting with our Bukholder Mom, and seeing our new nephew Ethan. Then we headed down south to visit our Hegerhorst Mom. We had a family dinner before heading home. It was a great weekend!
