10 months

Makayla at 10 months
-Loves Loves Loves to play peek-a-boo
-Starting to give high fives
-Still does not crawl but manages to scoot her way around on her bum (I don't think she is going to full on crawl because she gets what she wants in her own little way!)
-Eats a lot of table food now a days. I love when you can just give them what you are eating!!!
-Still has NO teeth, but her gums are swollen so you can tell they are making their way up!
-Sleeps great naps and at bedtime most nights. I cannot remember the last time she fell asleep while I was holding her thought, which makes 1-4pm church mighty difficult these days! She will fall asleep in the car.
-Still wants to be held a lot, she does not like it when you walk away form her. It is not just me though, she does not like it when anyone walks away from her!
-She is still a very happy baby and easily entertained, which is good! My big girl!

Peek-a-boo
Her attempts at crawling start out like she is going to...moving her hands up and down. Then she just sits back up.
She will crawl forward enough to belly flop. I will miss her little penguin kicks when she does crawl or walk or whatever she decides to do! She lays like this and kicks frantically. It is too funny!

She will make her way across the room on her bum...she may have face planted it one too many times to want to crawl anymore... :)
 More peek-a-boo

Happy Anniversary!!!

We are 7 years old! I have to say I am super blessed to be married to this man! I am so blessed to have my best friend to be someone who is always helping me and making me want to be a better person. I have never met someone who can tackle life and problems like this man! He is so encouraging and loving. He is constantly looking for ways to make my life easier and is a very selfless person. He loves our kids and cannot wait to spend time with them. It is a top priority on his list. He has a good way of scaling things back and really seeing what is important in life. I love having that rock at my side! Love you Dano and here is to many more adventurous years ahead!

To celebrate we went out on an early afternoon date. We left the kids with my parents and went out, on the first day it opened, to hit a bucket of balls. I am improving!

Following that we walked around the outlet mall a bit and grabbed us a bite to eat at Johnny Rockets. It was nice to get out on a date. It is always hard to do these things with a nursing baby! Thanks mom and dad for watching the kiddos, they had a blast!

My dad sent this pic to me while the kids were shopping with them at Costco...buying toilets. Sitting on their thrones! Each got a pot to sit on and they loved it!
After we got home, while Makayla took a nap and Dad packed Grandma and I took the boys to the park. As always they loved it!

I had to throw this picture of Makayla in from yesterday. I went running...yes running! And to top it off with 3 kiddos. 2 in the jogger and the other on his bike. I feel pretty accomplished. I am hoping to run a half marathon in  a little over 2 months... Anyways we were feeling the Spring weather itch and Makayla was loving it!

Hegerhorst Family Olympics 2014

Since the Olympics were on, and because of Aunt Krista's genius ideas...we decided to hunt down a church and make some fun on Saturday with the kids! We brought balls, nerf guns, and came up with a few different races and games. We ended by handing all the kids their gold and silver medals! I could not come up with a bronze one:)

No matter how hard Bumpa tried, Levi was the master at this race. He would blow that puff ball across the floor as fast as if he were crawling at full speed. It was too funny!

 Target practice
 Award ceremony!

 Our Olympians
On Sunday we sang to Zack and Miles for their Birthdays!

Happy Valentines Day!

Since the boys had there Valentine parties at school on Wednesday, our Valentines was a little low key this year! Dan and I just combine and celebrate our Anniversary, and do something little for V-Day!
Here are my 3 little Valentines!

My boys got enough treats so they got some Legos and Starwars art packs for Valentines Day. They proceeded to color and play with them for well over 2 hours at the table. Worth it in my books! Levi even said, "These are way better than treats!"

They also made Valentines for their cousins they were seeing that day and Grandma and Grandpa. We are awesome and drove down to Andrew's house that night and Dan helped him and my dad wire up their basement! My mom and I joked while we were at her house and the kids were in bed because we were there watching tv and eating treats together on Valentines Day without our husbands! They came when they were done:)

Birthday Continued

When Dad got home we went and got Zack's favorite...Pizza at Pizza Pie Cafe!

Following dinner was presents

He loved his presents!

Cake or cupcakes in our case, and ice cream!

We filled his room up with balloons the night before his birthday and I forgot to take a picture, so this will have to do! He had a great birthday and I love seeing him feel so special, because he really really is!

Zack at 4

Zack turns 4 today.

Where has the last 4 years gone? I am sure I will say that every year because it goes by faster and faster with each one! I decided today I would write and post a little bit about Zack right now!

Zack loves to do his "homework" everyday after Levi finishes his. I think he can maneuver around the computer and some games better than I can. He is also still working on his reading lesson and enjoys preschool with his friends!
His favorite toys right now are obviously LEGOS! He plays those things for hours!
 He still loves his blanket:)
Zack is my takes his time kid. Every morning he is the one I worry about getting ready on time. He really just wants to do his own thing and has a hard time being hurried. Why go brush my teeth when there are Legos right there to play with?! Unless it is for something he wants to do, like preschool, then he will hurry like a "race car!" He is the most focused little kid! He has always been one to be able to sit down and focus on things for a longer period of time, but he still does! He is not one to bounce from thing to thing, that is why he loves Legos. He can sit and play for a long time! He is also a very determined little guy. He has an older brother to compete with so he has a lot of motivation to learn to do things himself and to keep up. He is learning to be a great playmate. Him and Levi are learning to work things out together and really play well together most days. I don't know what they would do without each other?! Zack is signed up for swimming lessons here in April and will do Preschool and Soccer in the Fall. He is so excited to be, "almost a whole hand!" He has his doctors appointment in a few weeks so we will see how big he is then.

Birthday morning, woke up to balloons filling their room! He was so excited! We headed out right after dropping Levi off for our Birthday outing. Since we opted out of a friend party he got to choose a toy instead.
I had a lot of fun with my Zack on our date. He was wanting a gray Dusty Crop Hopper and more Legos. So we tracked them down at Toys-R-Us. He just wanted to go home and play with them. I asked him multiple times if he wanted to go to the Airplane Museum and he just wanted to play with his new toys!
 Making his cupcakes!

 Playing with his balloons

I love this little man and what he adds to our family. He is a very independent, smart, active, focused, and will accomplish anything that he wants to. He is constantly surprising me with what he knows and does! He says funny things and is just about the cutest thing you have ever seen. Happy Birthday Zack!

Now off to have our family party!!!!
