7 Months

I have been working on a big project lately. I have been pulling all the videos off our computer and trying to put them into a DVD so the kids can watch themselves as babies. By watching these videos I am reminded why I work so hard to keep our pictures and videos updated. I was almost in tears last night after watching several videos of Levi when he was Makayla's size. It goes by way to fast and I really do want to capture every second of it! They may have gazillion pictures/books/and videos to take when they get older, but I would rather have that then the alternative! I always want to remember their cute sweet little voices and the funny things they say or do. So off my soapbox brought on by my project at hand.

Miss Makayla is 7 months old today.
My lovse to be held, loves to be sitting, loves to watch her brothers play, loves the bath, loves to giggle at her daddy, and loves to be loved beautiful baby girl! She is at a fun age and is starting to say different sounds and interact with you. She will stick her tongue out, you stick yours at her, and then she will stick hers back out at you:) She still loves to be held or sitting. She will play on her tummy for a minute before she rolls onto her back. From there she just gets mad and wants up! She loves to observe and her brothers sure know how to get her to smile and giggle. They will run past her over and over until she is laughing so hard she can barely breath. She has the cutest little hazel eyes and her hair under is growing in. It looks a lot like Levi's did, but maybe a little darker. She still has an unpredictable sleeping schedule, but usually takes great naps. She took a 4 hour one today...what?!?! She has to be getting some teeth because she is biting everything and constantly sucking on her fingers. We love our little girl and it is so fun to see her grow.

First Real Snow

Saturday we had our first real snow where it actually stuck on the ground. The boys were way excited, I however was not as much. These are the days I really miss Arizona!!! I would miss family, fall, and the mountains way to much to consider it, but I LOVE warm weather. I do love to see my kids jump with excitement and get dressed as fast as their little arms can manage and run outside. They have so much fun playing in the snow, so I guess I cannot hate it too much!
Catching snowflakes!

Even though it melted within a day, they insisted on shoveling.
Of course they had to make a snowman. Followed by knocking/destroying it a little later!
We had Kellie's family stop by during the snow. It was fun to visit and play with their kiddos! We are excited to spend more time over Thanksgiving with them!

Zack's Halloween thistles attack!

 Letters to Santa- Levi's
 Zack's
We got this out for Preschool and he wrote on it  constantly for a week!
We are in need of some girl toys:)
Levi's first assembly. They sang patriotic songs for Veteran's Day. It was cute...and long!
Obsessed with her tongue and sticks it out as much as she can. It is so stinking cute!

 Copying their sister
We set up our Christmas lights last week. We have never put lights up before and the boys were so excited to FINALLY get some up this year!
We are feeling the holidays! Are they here yet?!

Our free Halloween Jamba with the Hirschi's. The boys were freezing, but they loved it!

Hegerhorst Halloween Party

We decided to make a quick trip on Saturday down to the parents house! We needed dad and his tools to cut a frame for a mirror we got from Grandma Hegerhorst's house. Since we decided to go I thought it would be fun to have an excuse to see everyone and have a Halloween party! We wanted to bring all the kids in their costumes to Grandma (who obviously could not make it around to see them all)!
Some of the boys!

 Pumpkin Bowling

Kellie's craft idea turned out way cute!
 Halloween Bingo
Pin the nose on the Jack-o-lantern
Difficult, but worth it group shot!
 Favorite aunt:)

Love the holidays and we cannot wait for Thanksgiving!!!!

Halloween

The day before Halloween we decided to carve out pumpkin. I refuse to do more than one because, like seen below, the boys do not like the guts inside and don't help at all! So we do a family pumpkin:)

They did however, choose the stencil and I think it turned out awesome!
Halloween night all decked out and way too excited to go trick-or-treating!
Boys were the first ones out there and were done by 7:45. That is my type of trick-or-treating! Zack decided to keep things interesting and tripped running across some weeded grass and landed in a bunch of thistles. He had tons stuck all over his clothes and had cuts on his hand, arms, and knees afterwords. The poor kid! Despite the trip, they had a ton of fun! That and we have TONS of candy left over. Anybody want some?!
