Logan American Heritage Farm and Pumpkin Walk

Photo Dump. We had a fun day celebrating Mack's birthday by hitting up the American Heritage Farm and the Pumpkin Walk. I don't know how my kids have so much energy but they ran around and enjoyed every second. They were beyond beat when we headed home!
Their favorite thing was the giant slide

Followed by the corn maze. Levi and James had to have maps and wanted to be the leaders. Good thing Dad has a good sense of direction:)

 BB gun shooting

Sling shot, notice the corn I caught in the picture on the far left.
Train ride, sitting by aunt Kellie and the birthday boy!
 Happy happy baby!
 Waiting for their horsy ride

Another picture of Zack's nervous face. He sent me away right after it started because he was okay. He is getting a little braver!
Poor Zack and Dan. Dan had been racing Zack in the stroller on and off throughout the day, problem was he mostly did it on grass. On the way out he started to run with Zack in the jogger and they hit a big divot. Well Zack went slamming forward face first into the dirt and Dan literally flew over the top and rolled. I have never seen Dan move so fast as he sprang back to get the stroller off of Zack. Zack started crying when he pulled him out of the stroller. Not because he was hurt, but because he did not want to get out of the stroller! Angels must have been watching over him, because he was not buckled and he should have flown forward and at the very least hit his face on the ground. He was JUST FINE! He claimed he was okay and we could not find a single bump on him. He was still tucked unbuckled down in the stroller, which was a miracle. That poor kid happens to always be the one in the accidents. It is such a blessing he has not been hurt worse.

 Some of our favorites:

Ward Party

I think I enjoy our Ward Party more than actual Halloween, due to the trunk-or-treat, games, dinner, and the time with friends. We had WAY to much fun this year! It all started by painting out pumpkins as Minions. That was followed by a hat...then another and another. They all turned out so stinking cute!!!! I love my little minions!!!!! Dan and I threw together outfits to go along with the them and Dan was Gru and I was Dr. Nefario off of Despicable Me. I didn't get any pics of the Trunk-or-Treat because I was passing out candy. But, Halloween is only a few days away and I am sure we will get some more!

Logan-Pumpkin Walk Prep

This past weekend we headed up for Fall Break to Logan. We stopped for some Wendy's on the way and the kid's meal toys cracked me up. My two Donkeys!
Througout our stay Kells and I worked on Pumpkin Walk stuff. She has been working on the backdrop and painting for hours and hours and we stopped in to help a little! Here is what we did while kids were in bed:)

The kids wanted to play in the backyard every second. They loved the leafs, the slide, the tramp, and the room to run.

Saturday we took the kids to the park and to lunch. They loved playing with their cousins and we always love hanging out with Kells and McKay!

We stopped at the pajama store while we were up there and Zack and I ended up with matching jammies. He loved it so we had to take a picture!

For FHE this week we painted out 3 minions! The kids each had a pumpkin and the boys painted there blue and yellow, then I finished the faces! We had to put a bow on one for Makayla's!

6 Months

Makayla turned 6 months on the 18th. At the doctors this week her stats were:
17.11 lbs-72%
25.98 in 58%
Head 16.9 in 63%
She has been 1-2lbs smaller than my boys at her checkups, but she is a girl! Makayla is such a sweet little baby who just loves to be held and observing. She does not like to lay on her back or stomach because she cannot see her mom or brothers running around. She loves her bouncer and walker much better! Which is probably why she still does not love to roll around, however she is starting to sit pretty good. We may have just skipped through the roll around the floor stage! She is still figuring out her baby food and now will eat quite a bit instead of spitting it all out. We have tried little bits of soft foods and she still spits those out like they are the grossest things she has ever tasted. She is sleeping a little better than the last 2 months recently. Only waking up once a night typically. I can handle that! She naps like a champ at home and is flexible enough otherwise that she falls asleep in the car or being held still too. She has to be with all our running around! She lights up when you talk to her, especially her daddy, mommy, and brothers. She blows raspberries ALL the time and is starting to make different sounds. She is starting to have way too many blowouts in her size 3 diapers so we will be moving to 4 soon! Typically she wears around 9 month/9-12month clothing. Such a sweet baby with the cutest hazel eyes and brown hair. Here I thought when she was born she was going to look a lot like Zack and I think it is safe to say she is pulling out the dark hair and eyed version!!! Happy half birthday sweet baby!
