Firsts

A first Dentist appointment. He was really nervous at first, so I sat with him as they had us ride up and down on the chair. Then he got really excited, "AGAIN!" So, I jumped off and let her try to look at his teeth. Then I left to go get my teeth cleaned, hoping he would do a tad better without mom in the room. I was right nearby finishing my own cleaning. I wanted to see what he would do to if he didn't have mom to save him! Levi jumped in the chair with Zack and Zack let them do everything they would want for a first visit. He even let the dentist look. Sometimes, they need a little space and no mom looking over their shoulders and they will surprise you! He did so well, and the assistants even told me they love when parents are not super worried, because that makes the kids more nervous and worried too. They usually do so much better if mom is doing the same thing they are. They came and watched me and I encouraged him and tried to make it seem like no big deal, it made all the difference for Zack! (my stubborn strong willed and super independent one who does not like anyone to tell him what to do!)

Dinosaur outfit I made for the a friend in the ward who just had a baby.
 First Piggy!
First Seven Peaks trip of the summer! The boys were obsessed with the wave pool and we let them be! We love having passes so they can spend as much time wherever they want to...which was the wave pool this time! They love being able to swim and float with their life jackets with minimal help from mom and dad!
Grandma came to help, so we took turns sitting with Makayla under an umbrella for the 3 hours we were there.
First time to Seven Peaks and first time in a swimming suit. I think she didn't mind:)
And a last. This may be the last time I got to see my grandparents home, and the place where my dad grew up while it is owned by my grandma still. They are prepping to sell right now and gutting the place. We dropped my mom off there to meet my dad.
We ended the fun day at the Stevenson's for some pizza and play time with the cousins. All in all a great week and weekend!

2 Months

Makayla turned 2 months today! Her stats were:
12.48 lbs-89%
22.91 in-72%
Head 15.1 in-38%
My boys were over a pound bigger, but she had a little more to catch up on after she dropped so much after birth! She is such a good baby for me. She sleeps great! The best yet was 11-6:30. Usually she wakes up between 3:30-4:30. And back to bed till the boys wake up. Not too bad at all! She slept in her crib for the first time last night. It is always hard for me to move them to their own room. But, she really is only across the hall:) She is cooing and smiling like crazy and I just love our conversations! She had to get her first round of shots today and she is pretty sore from those. She is so fun to have around and the boys just love her! My beautiful baby girl!
 ????????????? You are weird mom.

Lifting her head up is such a chore!!!!
Love these half smiles and those chubby chubby cheeks! :)

Daddy's Day!

It was fun to have Fathers and Sons this past weekend considering it was Father's Day on Sunday! Dan took the boys camping with the ward Friday night. They had a blast...minus Zack hitting his head on a rock. That is my accident prone little boy! He had angels watching over him! Dan tripped, or more slid with his terrible tennis shoes while carrying Zack down the mountain they hiked up. Zack hit the rock pretty hard. However, after some tears it barely left a mark and he acted fine. When they got home I could not even find anything! So lucky! For Father's Day we went down to my parents for Sunday dinner. We got Dan some golf shoes and attire for Father's Day along with these:

Such cute boys!!!
My kids are so lucky to have such a hands on and loving daddy!

 My Daddy...

We got a little out of control after that....

While Daddy Was Gone...

While Dan was at Girls Camp Tuesday-Wednesday, I decided to bring the kids to Grandma's house. We visited the Thanksgiving Point Farm, and then did water fun in the backyard.

Going Ons Lately

Last Monday, we had the Johnson's come play! We played sprinklers in the backyard and headed to the Farmington Family Night with a Monsters Inc theme. They had a blast!

Goof balls!
Free Ice Cream at the Monsters Inc activity
 My 3 Monster Students:)

 Dry Ice Bubbles
I caught one as it popped!
We waited in line most of the time for this guy to draw the kids.
I think he did a pretty good job!

Ms. Makayla getting chubbier and chubbier:)
Levi finished his 100 reading lessons on Friday. For his reward he picked out an Ironman toy. Zack got one too for working hard at his flashcards. Levi has been doing so well and even read his talk in primary on Sunday after some practice. He is so cute and such a smart kid. He can pick up on things easily. Congrats Levi and now you can read to me!
Zack walks around with Ironman in hand all day and talks like this: "Ironman just woke up!" "Ironman is tired." "Ironman is hungry." "Will you save my seat Ironman?" And even tucks him into bed with him and says, "Goodnight Ironman!" It is too cute and too funny!

Makayla's Blessing

June 2nd was Makayla's blessing. We have an amazing and supportive family. Everyone was able to make it and the day went so smoothly considering there were 2 baby blessings! We had ours in the morning and baby Kate's in the afternoon. It was such a fun family filled day and we feel so blessed to have such a great family and also to have this little perfect angel in our home. Thank you to our families for supporting us on Makayla's big day! Picture mania ahead...

Baby Emily, Makayla, and Kate. All 3 within 2 weeks of each other (Makayla, Emily, and then Kate). They are going to be best friends!!!
