Da Boys!

I wanted to take a few minutes tonight with each of the boys to take a descent picture...we tried!

I didn't get much from this weekend, and have not taken any for a bit of Makayla. So, here she is! She is getting bigger and bigger and more bright eyed every day! She has a little stuffy nose right now and I feel so bad! Too tiny and it makes me so sad! 

Memorial Day Weekend

Besides a huge allergy attack, we had a great weekend! We went down to use Hotel Hegerhorst (we called my parents house, since they were gone and we still were staying there!), with Andrew and Kim and family. Friday, the boys went camping with Andrew, James, and Cash for their ward father and sons. Kim and I went to dinner, a little shopping, and rented a chick-flick:) Saturday we got with Jeni and Todd's family, and Krista for some sprinklers, park, dinner, and play time with the cousins. Sunday  we visited Grammy and Grampy and I was mad at myself for forgetting my camera! That evening we had a BBQ with Jeni's fam, Andrew's fam, Krista, and us! Monday, we packed up and went to lunch followed by the splash pad with all the kids again. It was a fun family filled weekend!

I didn't take many pictures...my hands seem to be full of a really cute baby right now and I don't seem to get it out as much! So, all I got was the splash pad:)

One Quick Month!

Seriously, already one month? I cannot believe how big she has gotten in the last 2 weeks and it has flown by! Our little doll is too much fun. 

I am pretty sure I got my first smile today...and I was not even trying! 

She has been sleeping pretty darn good waking up usually one time for me. 

She is in size 1 diapers, but will be in 2's shortly! 

She still can wear 0-3 clothes, but newborn are getting pretty snug!

Her brothers still adore her and want to hold her often.

They are both super gentle and love to watch her.

Zack was so concerned at church today when I left the carseat in the hall while I ran out to the car (Makayla was with Dan), and as we went outside he got this panicked look on his face. He then shouted as he turned around running back to the door, "Mom the baby!"

Levi tells everyone there are 3 reasons a baby cries: they are tired, they are hungry, or they have a messy diaper or gas in their tummies.

He also calls her: Poop-a-lot, Sleep-a-lot, and Spit-a-lot. Probably because mom does occasionally:)

Everyone cannot believe how much hair she has...neither can I! But, it is getting lighter and lighter and I am guessing it will be blonde before we know it. 

She is a good baby and we love her to pieces.

 The world's best big brothers who are both super concerned and try so hard to make her happy. They talk and sing to her in the car and track down her binky when she is sad. She is one lucky girl! I didn't mean to but they all matched for our first day back at our ward!

Mother's Day 2013

For Mother's Day we headed down to Saratoga Springs. We spent the night Saturday and went to my cousin's farewells in Alpine. We were determined to go see Grandma Hegerhorst, since she is not around very often and you never know when the last time may be. She was so sweet shakily trying to give my dad everything she could, even a box of used pencils and combs. I could not help but smile as I gave grandma a huge hug and feel so blessed to do so on Mother's day. Then we spent the rest of the day playing with cousins, eating good food, and relaxing! I had a great Mother's day and was reminded of the privilege it is to be a mother! Especially with recently adding Makayla to our family. These perfect kids teach me a lot and I am extremely lucky to have them!

 Badmitten, until Lily decided to do a kart-wheel right into the net:) Funniest thing I have seen in awhile. Or my lack of sleep with a newborn makes me laugh too hard over little things!

 He just sat there under the tree watching all the kids play while he ate his popsicle. Such a cutie!

 When I checked on the boys before I went to bed, this is how I found them. They really are so close and so cute together. Zack cried yesterday when Levi went to a birthday party because he wanted to go too. After several, "Where is Levi?" And "I want Levi!" I snuggled him till he fell asleep. The first thing he said when I woke him up to go pick up Levi was, "I want Levi!" They love each other so much and Levi going to school will be quite the adjustment!

 4 generations. Makayla, her Mom, her Grandma Hegerhorst, and her Great Grandma Hegerhorst. We will need to get this with her other Great Grandma as well!

Picture Splurge

With the weather warming up this week, Dan got the sprinklers ready. The boys were too excited to wait for it to get a little warmer and ran through some anyways!

 Ya, Levi wanted to take a picture, and I usually never let him use my camera. I let him try it and look what he took! We may have a photographer in the making!

 Our Sunday afternoon shoot:) I have been wanting a chance to take a few more photos a little more casual like for Makayla's newborns. So, here the be! She is so dang precious and we can't get enough!
