Makayla's Story
Well, not wanting to make it all the way to the day, we did anyways. I was hoping little girl would decide to come on her own, but she was too comfortable in there! They scheduled me for 9am on the morning of the 18th. It is nice to be able to get all ready and packed. Also, having Bada there knowing your kids are in great hands! They got me all hooked up by 10am and then the waiting game began. I thought the doc would be by to pop my water by noon, so the epidural came at that time:) However, come to find out she was at her Layton clinic and would not come unless I was a 7, or after her patients at her office. So, wait we did. My water cushioned her head so it took till about 4pm. When she did pop my water I jumped from a 7 to a 10 in less than an hour and had to push!!! For some reason my epidural was masking a lot of the pain, but I could feel just about everything else. My legs were not numb at all! But, with 3 pushes later Makayla was here!!! She arrived at 5:54pm. I was hoping for 8lb 9oz, because both her brothers were, but she had to outdo them. 8lb 10oz and 19.5 in. She also had to beat them out with a full head of hair! Glad our girl got the hair! We had aunt Kellie, Grandma, and Grandpa to visit with us while we were there. We had an interrupted nights sleep and a relaxing day the next day. The boys came to visit with Bada for lunch. I was more excited for them to meet her than I am sure they were! But, they ran in the room anxious to see her. Levi immediately wanted to hold her and Zack put his hand over his mouth and gasped, followed by, "She's cuuuuute!!!!" We were a little anxious to sleep in our own beds so when my 24 hours after delivery hit, we were pretty much packing to head home. My bed never felt so good, and she slept really good for us. The boys were so excited to see us in the morning and we were so glad to be home with our perfect baby! We took her in for her newborn checkup on Saturday, and little miss had dropped down to 7lb 13oz. She lost 9% of her weight. 10% is where they get concerned. But, she has been eating like a champ and I am certain she is gaining it back fast! Her cord fell off on day 4. A little too soon, but that also is looking good. Everything is perfect!

Our Last Saturday Before Sister
After my baby shower on Saturday and the boy's Lowe's workshop, we decided to find something fun to do. It is our last Saturday as a family of 4 and no baby, so we decided to go bowling. The boys love it and we had a quick 2 hours to kill before Dan had a priesthood meeting. The boys had so much fun, if you can't tell by their faces!
I was awful. I hit down 9 pins on my first frame, and then nothing for almost 5 more frames:)
If you can't tell, I was the best! HA! But, we had a blast!
With a quick spontaneous trip down for Sunday dinner at the parents Sunday night after Stake Conference, we ended our last weekend of 4 off great! Now on to the next few days of errands and preparing the best I can!
Zack always celebrated right after he pushed the ball down the ramp. It was too cute! I got a few of his victory dances on video. Such a silly boy!
Levi on the other hand was super serious about it and analyzed every throw carefully. Such a perfectionist!I was awful. I hit down 9 pins on my first frame, and then nothing for almost 5 more frames:)

Blessing Dress
Well, it has taken since January, but I am done! It was such a fun project and has only increased my excitement for this little girl. I decided to make her blessing dress. I spent tons of hours with the tinniest thread, beads, and needle crocheting the dress. Then with some help from my mom (mostly her) a slip for underneath. I am in love and cannot wait to have her here to put her in it!

Baby Animal Days
For one of our last weekends as a family of 4, we headed up to Baby Animal Days in Logan. We had a lot of fun there last year and could not wait to do it again. We picked Grandma up at the train station on Friday and she watched the boys so I could get my hair done and for my doctors appointment. I am dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced, which means nothing for me (Zack was a 4 and I still was only 5 days early). But, you never know! Anyways, the next morning we headed up to Logan and met Jeni's family, my dad, and aunt Krista. As you can tell they loved the animals and could not get enough of holding them! I almost convinced myself to get a baby bunny...then I decided we should just get a baby first:) Levi was anxious to hold the bunnies.
Zack was nervous of the horses and took almost the whole time to loosen his death grip and lose the terrified look on his face. But, he was so proud of himself when he was done and just said, "I rode the horse!" He gets so nervous of everything, but once he tries it he loves most of it!
