Jeff's Baptism

This past Saturday we had the opportunity to go Jeff's baptism. It was such a great day full of great family and the Spirit was so strong. We love our family and love being able to be at special events like this and to share memories and experiences with them. Congrats Jeff!  

 After the baptism and dinner we hit the Stevenson's backyard for some four-wheeling/sledding. Zack never makes it quite to the four-wheelers but loved sledding. He wanted to go inside before I even thought about taking pictures. So this is the one I got from the doorstep:)

We took a very short notice and very quick trip to Lehi this morning to look at a couch. We decided to make the drive worth it for the boys by meeting Grandma at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Zack was mostly scared of all the dinosaurs and would literally run away screaming and saying, "Can I get outta here?!" But, when there were no dinosaurs towering over him he had a lot of fun digging and playing in the water. Levi loves dinosaurs and was so good at trying to get Zack excited about things. We walked through this tunnel that was dark with a bunch of little lights representing stars. Zack clung to me and cried until the very end and then popped up and said happily, "I like the stars!" Such a goof. After getting the couch we had a quick lunch with Bumpa and aunt Krista before heading home.

 This afternoon we played outside with friends. This is Levi saying, "Hey! Lets throw snow at my mom!" Funny.

 They spent a good hour and a half outside digging tunnels in out mound of snow and attempting to ride bikes. Meanwhile I chipped away at the sheet of ice on our driveway. Some of the ice melted today...thank goodness. Zack fell a half dozen times on the driveway before wanting to quit and go inside:) Fun time with fun friends!

"Say Cheese Mom!"

Since we have been a little caved in lately due to the yucky weather and even worse air outside, my boys are being quite creative. I find myself barely pulling out my camera...ever. So, here was my attempt at catching Levi as he walks around all day taking pictures of all his toys and the house with our "kid camera."

Just Another Great Weekend!

We started off the weekend heading down south to Jeni's house. Dan went with Andrew, Todd, and Dad to the Auto Show on Friday. We spent the first of the afternoon at Kim's house and then the rest at Jeni's house. The kids ran around and played the whole time. They were exhausted when we got home! Today we ran over to Bountiful to visit the Stevenson's and to go out to dinner with Bada. The kids once again loved playing with their cousins. We are so dang lucky! The idea was to drag sleds behind the four-wheelers. Funny thing though, the snow was too deep! So they tried and tried and tried some more. The kids ended up playing in the snow for a long time and still had a blast. But, I took a few pictures before the failed attempts:) 

 This is the only picture I took of Friday. This is Garrett modeling for our Darling Derriere shoot. It was too cute not to add to the post!

Our Winter Wonderland

Since we got next to no snow last year, this year has been a complete different story! We got dumped on this past week a few times. It took Dan 2 1/2 hours to get home from work on Thursday. The kids decided to enjoy the benefits of the snow for about 15 minutes. Too bad this snow has been followed by FREEZING temperatures. They do like to slide down the huge mound of snow in the front of our house from the snow plows! We had the Johnson's over this weekend so the boys could drive down and help my parents move. I will try to find a picture of our house, but goodbye Orem house of 25 years. Mixed feelings of lots of memories and excitement for my parents and their new adventure and new house. They will move in a few weeks to Saratoga Springs. 

Treehouse Museum and Then Some

This past Monday we headed to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. It was too much fun for the kids to even get to half of it in a few hours!

When I uploaded the pictures from the camera I found a bunch that Levi has taken over the last few months...

 Oh, I about died! Seriously, on the potty!

Happy New Year-2013!

To ring in the New Year we went out to lunch with my parents and Krista. Then headed to the bowling lanes. The boys could not get enough! They never wanted to leave their ball for even a second!

  Zack was nervous at first, but once he tried it he was so sad when he had to sit down. After every toss he did a victory dance, whether he hit one or ten pins. It was super cute!

New Years Eve

For New Years Eve this year we headed down to my parents for a last family party before they move. The kids loved playing with their cousins and going sledding. Followed by yummy food and fireworks!  On to 2013!
