First Snow and Pumpkin Carving

When we woke up yesterday morning I told the boys to go look outside. Levi immediately wanted to go play in it. It took some convincing for him to wait a little while for the sun to come up a little more and maybe to get some warm clothes on:) It took me 20 minutes to persuade Zack to put a coat on, a test in the snow to see how cold it was to put his gloves on, and a sneak attack with the hat, which he took off a minute later anyways! Such a cute and strong willed little guy when he wants to be! As you can see they had a lot of fun exploring the snow and helping me build a snowman.

Lately my boys have started to tell each other secrets. I don't know what they say but it is too dang cute! They are such good buddies and are like each others hips lately. They both want to be doing everything the other is doing and they LOVE to be together. They ignore me now and I have to fight to play sometimes! Such a change from a year ago! I love having them close together and love that the are such good friends. I hope they continue to be best buds forever!

 Last night we carved pumpkins after getting new tires for our Mazda. Not exactly a fun activity but this turned the evening right around. The boys loved it! Zack ran around like an excited man and only wanted to stab the pumpkins, so he didn't do too much:) He was way excited about the outcome since he has read about Jack-o-lanterns in books lately. He was very determined to blow out the candle inside!

Levi started out helping and would only touch the inside of the pumpkin if he had gloves on. So we all wore gloves. He hates getting things on his hands that don't immediately come off! 

 They played with the pumpkin the whole time we were finishing up the other one. So excited!

 They were so excited to put them on the porch and want them to be lit up all day long.

 Trunk or treat tomorrow and Halloween next week! We are ready for Halloween!

Brian Head Cabin

This past weekend Dan took 2 days off and we had an extended weekend at Mckay's parent's cabin in Brian Head. It was a couple of days full of four wheeling and walks in the snow! Needless to say the kids had a blast and we had a much needed vacation!!!!

On the way home we stopped at my parents house and had a birthday party for Mack who is turning one this week. Kellie was too funny in this picture and we obviously have a lot of fun when we all get together!

Happy Birthday BADA!

Today is Bada's Birthday. We were lucky enough last Thursday to meet 5 out of 8 of Dan's siblings at Teppanyaki to celebrate! The kids were a little nervous by the fire at the beginning but were mesmerized the rest of the time. They enjoyed the birthday gear uncle Jeff brought too. 

When Levi tried a piece of his meat he turned to me and said, "Mom! This tastes Badiculous!" I laughed so hard. He meant to say ridiculous, but in that context it is still funny:) My silly boy!

Cousins Cousins And More Cousins

On Thursday this past week we met Jeni and kids, Kim and kids, and my mom at Gardner Village. I have loved going the past few years and the boys love the witches and even more...their cousins!

We ended the afternoon at the park.

On Friday night we got to have Joel, Courtney, Lincoln, and Lundin. As you can see Levi loves babies! He had a blast with Lincoln.

 On Saturday we met Jeni and Todd's family at the Hill's Airforce Museum by our house. We have lived here a year and have not been...and it is free! The boys loved the airplanes. There were tons! As you can see by the pictures we had some goofs on our hands!

Girl's Day

Even though I have NO pictures from our girl's outing, we headed down to Orem on Friday night. Dan went golfing in the morning and then we had our girl's outing. We started out with a craft at the church, then off to lunch, and ended with some shopping. It was very fun and the day went by too fast!
