spring time=planting time

Well technically we planted our trees in November, but we have officially begun yard work in our new house! We will not do tons this year more than necessary because nothing had been done for landscaping at all before we moved in. Plus, we just had a good chunk of fence put it. The last few days we have loved being able to play outside for hours! Dan got a bike or two working that the previous owners left here so we are looking forward to family bike rides soon. The boys LOVE the space to play and we are going to have plenty to do this year:) Can't wait to break out the riding lawn mower!

Our new fence. Now we just need to enclose the front. A little at a time!
According to Levi he IS looking at the camera. We have spent hours riding bikes and playing baseball this week.
Proof that I can plant a tree and that it is not dead!
Our peach, maple, and pear trees. Can't wait till the peach and pear can actually produce fruit!
King of the mountain! We have some plans for the dirt that came from the fence post holes. All sorts of projects. One at a time! In the mean time the boys sure enjoy the perks!

Stay-cation

We planned to go to a cabin this weekend, but we decided with some snow storm warnings that we would just hang around and plan some fun activities to do! Thursday we went to the Union Station and took the Johnson's family pictures and the boys walked around and looked at all the trains. Friday we went to the Rec Center here and swam. It was a little cold but the boys LOVED the slide. After some naps we headed to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. It was a hit. We hung out a little Saturday before the Johnson's headed down to Orem. We headed to the Stevenson's where we were treated with Mandarin and some March Madness with Dan's mom, Jeff, and the Stevensons. I love stay-cations:)

"Hike In The Mountian!"

A few weeks ago my dad told Levi that they would go for a hike in the mountain. Now Levi will randomly bring up how excited he is to "Hike in the mountain!" So, since some of our other plans fell through we headed down to Orem for Saturday. Since most trails would probably be muddy due to the warm weather we just hiked up to Bridal Veil Falls. Levi still had a lot of fun and we are looking forward to more hikes in the mountain this summer. We REALLY missed mountains in Arizona...mostly me...but really did.

Disney On Ice-Toy Story 3

Last night Levi and I went with my neighbor Krista and son Dylan to Disney On Ice-Toy Story 3. Levi's face was priceless. It makes me extremely excited to take him to Disneyland someday. He was so so excited to see the characters. He was sitting at the edge of his seat the entire 2 hours and ate half the tub of popcorn mindlessly as he was watching. When Zurg came out he was frozen until Buzz came out. He loved Woody, Buzz, and Jesse and he was very aware when they were not on the ice:) He didn't want to leave and he has been asking to go watch it again over and over. He really wants to go ice skating now too. He was so fun to take on a date and I love taking him to these things and seeing how excited he gets.

Ever since I showed him this silly face he does it in most pictures....
Levi wanted to get popcorn all day so we did. It was almost as big as him and I swear he ate about half of it.
The face again. I love my Squivi!

The way home. Two crazy tired boys at 10 o'clock and this is what you get:)
Can't wait for another date with my little guy again!

Night Night Sleep Tight

Zack has been really good the last few nights about us laying down next to him for a little while and then we leave. After that he stays in his room and usually the last few nights at least, he falls asleep really fast. I only hear him playing with toys for a minute or two. The funny thing is I look forward to seeing where he is asleep once it gets quiet. He knows not to come out by us or he just gets put back so, the other day I found him on the floor next to my bed (we had put him there to sleep since we had Kellie and McKay over in a sleeping bag). So he was cuddled on top of the sleeping bag asleep. Last night we found him snuggled up with Baloo our bear:) He is so cute and is catching on to this no crib thing better than expected!
I thought I would add these for when Kellie's family came to visit. Mack is getting so big and we take tons of pictures of him in crochet items:) He was so smily and lifting his head up so well I had to catch a few pictures of those cute chubby chubby cheeks!!!
