new do

Zack's hair was getting a little out of control. He has crazy growing hair! He has had 5 haircuts, I think, already. Within two months he has a huge shag. I kind of hope my girl has his hair!!! So here is a before and after. He looks so big now! Dan was pushing them around in the basket the other day, so when Levi found it the next day he had Zack jump in and he pushed him around. He is such a good big brother!

Zack blowing kisses at the park.

So cute, dirty face and all!

Happy Easter!

We had a good Easter this year. On Thursday we did an easter egg hunt as a little playgroup. Levi had a blast finding eggs with his "friends!" Zack actually really got the hang of it quickly. As long as you held the basket, he filled it right up!
Today we did another easter egg hunt with just the boys in the house. They have so much fun doing it, I wish it lasted longer than two minutes!! But, most importantly we had a great day of celebrating our Savior's life and resurrection.

pink cheeks. It was way too hot!

You wish you could have cleaned him up. Boogers and all.
Easter day.

Pure happiness. He LOVES his candy!
Does not take long to catch on to what is inside the eggs!
Boys with the easter bunny ;)
End the night watching a movie. I love how they like to watch movies like this. Look at Zack's eyes! Ha!
Happy Easter everyone! Hope your day was as good as ours!

Nightly Routine...

My boys LOVE to wrestle. I just love to sit back and watch. So here is a clip of our nightly routine. So this is our routine: We get them all ready for bed, baths and teeth brushed (hence the diaper for Levi), and then have wrestle time. Then we slow it down and read some books to get them ready for bed. It wears them out nicely and the best part is all of the giggles:)

I have to throw in a picture of the super cute idea Jeni gave me to make Dino tails for my boys. Here is a pic of Levi sporting one of the tails I made for the boys. Too fun right?!

EASTER FHE

This week for FHE we colored our Easter eggs. This is the first time we have done this due to lack of interest from Levi. This year he LOVED it. During the day he helped me make Snickerdoodles, his daddies favorite. It was a fun filled family home evening.

Our finished product. I would say he did a pretty good job with the stickers:)

Desert Botanical Gardens

Who knew the desert could actually be pretty in a spiky way. We went to the library this past week and I got ahold of free tickets to the Desert Botanical Gardens. I had wanted to check them out for awhile now so we took advantage of the free tickets. I was glad it was free:) Don't get me wrong, it is a pretty place, just not kid appropriate. We were walking around with a whole bunch of photographers with ginormous lenses and old people. We rented Levi a sweet cart to push around. He liked the driving wheel on it and never wanted to get out of it. All and all it was a pretty fun family outing.
To the Stevenson family: we got educated on some cacti and this place had more than they could dream of finding....EVER.

Levi's car.

They wanted nothing to do with pictures.

They would not even look in my direction.

perfect smile:)

Levi went to the dentist for the first time today. He was a little skeptical at first, but when they told him they were going to put "candy" on his teeth he opened right up. He did so well and he looked so cute in that big chair. I am proud of my big boy and his perfect smile!

Showing me his toothbrush and how he opened his mouth for the dentist like we practiced:)
New toothbrush!!!

easter apparel

Yesterday we went and got the boy's Easter outfits. I can't help but make them matching. It must be the twin side of me:) They just looked so cute! We went to a park and in the back there was a perfect little orchard. The boys however, really wanted nothing to do with pictures so I did my best.

our house of 4 grew to 12 this weekend!

This past weekend we were SO excited for the Stevenson family and Bada to come visit! We do not have a huge house so we got to spend some good quality time together:) JK. It was actually not as bad as I had imagined considering we only have 2 bedrooms! The Stevenson kids are so good and Levi had so much fun playing with them. You could seriously see him soaking up every second of it. Every morning he would wake up and ask where his "friends" were. We love you guys and can't wait to see you all again!
The kids begged to go swimming, so one of the first stops between conference sessions was swimming! Our pool was not super warm yet so they were brave kids to stay in it for an hour!
Met sweet little 1 month old baby Vivienne!
Poor Zack. We were playing at the park and the clod of a mom he has slipped when standing up after swinging, and swung forward and hit him. He face planted it in the rocks. I was terrified to pick him up and look at his face, it was THAT hard! Sure enough he had a rock literally in his lip. I felt SOOOOOOO bad! After an otter pop he felt much better. It looks so much better now. I am glad mouth wounds heal quickly, because I feel like we sure get enough of them in this house!!
The kids were so excited to find a cactus, so we went for a walk! Left to right: Adelaide, Jacob, Samuel, David, and Levi.
Walking around the temple to find more cacti. Zack would not hold still to save him. He loves to explore everything these days.
Levi showing me his pocky cactus.
Picked a few oranges, grapefruit, and lemons.
Tried out our big ball on a grass hill. One word: dizzy.
Watching the ball fun!
Levi loves baseball now. The Stevenson boys showed him how and he loved it! He actually hit a few balls and I captured one of them:)
Zack wanted to too. He is copying everything these days.
For the 20min the kids were swimming, I attempted a few pictures. Vivienne really didn't like me taking her pictures, so this was the best I got with the short time without tons of kids in the house:)

The Stevenson's LOVE sports and I LOVE that. So, we went to the batting cages one afternoon. Levi loves anything to do with sports, so he had to take his turn.
He looked like a bobble head:)
He was surprisingly not scared and wanted to do it all by himself. Don't worry Dan was holding his shirt when the balls would actually go!

The place of the accident. Poor kid, but his face looks much much better now.
We had so much fun with them and can't wait to see them all again! Love you guys!
