Schnepf Farms

Today we went out and explored yet another sweet find down here, The Schnepf Farms. I thought it would be a fun peach orchard to take pictures in, but it was much more than that. There was a petting zoo, a mini amusement park, put-put golf, pick your own vegetables, a train ride, bikes, playgrounds, a spring, kid corn maze, and more. The boys loved it! If we were not about to be blown away by a dust storm we would have stayed longer. I was in heaven wanting to take pictures! Considering the weather conditions, we did get a few ;) Zack was my trial child as you could not contain Levi's excitement! So, there are tons of Zack. Thanks Gallup family for coming with us! Levi was way too excited to see his buddy Camryn!

Day 18: going out

We went out for our Anniversary last night so this was a perfect day for this assignment! We do not go out often due to a few factors, no family, don't know any young women enough, and financing a date and a sitter is not always an option:) But, we did get to go out last night to celebrate our big #4 at the Olive Garden followed by Golfland. We almost went laser tagging but decided to save that for next time! We had a blast and knew our boys were in capable hands. Thanks Ashley for watching them for us! We are very lucky to have you around! Thanks Dan for keeping it such a secret. What girl does not like a surprise date with their sweetie?!

Day 17: we are 4 years old...

I changed the assignment because we are celebrating today and going on a much needed date! Happy Anniversary to the best guy EVER! It has been an amazing and fast four years and so much has happened. We have both graduated school in business finance and nursing, had a few jobs, lived in three different states, moved our stuff 8 times, had two kids, gone on many vacations, bought our first home, and have been so happy doing anything as a family. Love you sweetie and I made the best decision of my life four years ago to marry you! Can't wait for the many more to come!

This was as good as it got today. Dan was my tripod! He loves it when I make him do these things:) At least I have a patient and supportive husband to put up with it!

So, Zack had his year appointment on Monday and I forgot to add the stats!

This is by far the smallest in weight. This is exactly what Levi did due to all the mobility in the last few months! They both start to drop on the charts! But, still maintain to be tall. We were saying uh-oh back in forth today to each other after he dropped something on the floor. It was way to cute! I just can't believe he is starting to say words knowingly. Where did my baby go?!

Day 12: the eyes

Happy Birthday Zackary!

My baby is one. Wow, it has flown by fast. We had our little family party tonight and decided to postpone his birthday party till we go to Utah in two weeks. That way we can combine and do a joint one with Emmery. I wanted Zack to have the best day ever, so we tried to do a bunch of things he enjoyed. We started the day off with a blow-out, but at least that did not set the mood for the day. We restarted the day with his favorite breakfast, pancakes! We topped it off by getting his free dozen doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. Then we headed to the park. We ate our doughnuts, fed the ducks, and rode the train they have there. Then we headed straight over to meet Dan for lunch and eat another one of Zack's favorite foods, pizza! After naps, we went for a walk. After dinner we opened presents. We got him a tent with a tunnel since he is obsessed with crawling through everything. He absolutely LOVES it. Then he ate a leftover cupcake we made for yesterday's valentine's playgroup:) I would not usually make my boy a pink cake! We ended the night with another favorite, a bath! It was a good day and can't wait to celebrate it again in two weeks!

Zack has grown so much in the last few months and learns new things everyday. The other day he walked about 20 steps by himself. He can do it, he just prefers to crawl. He now says, "Mom," "Dadda,""Baba,"and "Uh-Oh." He shakes his head every time you tell him no. He can crawl up and down stairs. He is a very independent guy and rather than play with the crowd for the most part, he usually just wanders off and finds his own thing to do. Usually instead of following Levi around, Levi follows him. He loves to get into everything. Like I said before he crawls through everything (including the long line of chairs in relief society under ladies legs and over their purses!). He can wave hi or bye, when he wants to. He is not one to do things unless he is in the mood. He plays patty-cake, like the bonk the head game, and loves to wrestle with daddy and Levi. He absolutely adores Levi, when Levi plays nice with him:) When they are playing and laughing together I am so glad I had them as close together and that they were both boys. They are going to be the bestest buddies! He likes to push his walker around. He loves to play in the rocks at our park and swing for hours if he could. He is pretty much on milk now, just need to get it all in a sippy now! He FINALLY is sleeping through the night. He was definitely a hard one to get scheduled. I will be pro by the time I am done with kids! Next up is getting rid of that binky. He does not use it very much at all, I am just tired of trying to find one. So, that will be gone soon I can tell you that! He is my little snuggle bug. He sad to say, loves when Levi watches a show. He watches tv better than Levi ever did. Not saying that is a good thing. That is probably because Levi rarely ever got to. Anyways, I love the times when he wakes up from his nap and Levi was watching a show to keep him quiet. Levi gets to finish his show and I just sit and snuggle my Zacky until he wakes up enough to want to explore. He loves to empty out ourtupaware cupboard and climb into our cupboard that goes under our stairs. He gets so mad when I put a gate up to block the stairs. I love my buddy and can't wait to watch him learn and grow. Happy Birthday Zack!
