We were getting ready for Valentines and were inspired by a shoot my sister did last year! Thanks for the great idea and for a fun day. The kids LOVED the candy and I loved their attention:)

Next comes Zack's birthday shoot. It WILL be super cute!

Nap Time

I am trying to whip out my camera a little more these days, so be prepared for frequent posting. Okay, I already post quite often. This week the boys have decided to switch nap time routine on me and have staggered their naps. So, I get to spend some one-on-one time with each of them. Today I played Memory with Levi. Maybe soon I will get a shoot in with Zack. Levi is getting so creative when he plays and is starting to not require mom to play with him all the time. The new saying of the last few days is, "Hey Zack Buddy! What you doin sweetheart?" It melts my heart every time he says it! It is amazing all the negative sayings that float around and to have him grasp a positive one that I say makes me happy! I am learning quickly to change the way I say things or at the octave I say them in:) I love my little sponge and can't wait to teach him so so much more!

January Is The New Fall

Last night I had an urge to continue working/practicing on photography. There is so much room for growth in that field and I feel like I have a lot of room to progress! So, this morning we headed to the temple to get some fun shots for me to work with. I was a little surprised at all of the leaves we found. So, it was fun for all of us. Okay, Zack was not an ideal subject. He really didn't like touching the leaves. So, most of my favorites are of Levi who LOVED throwing the leaves! Keep in mind I am in the learning process, so no judging!

Eyes, Ears, Mouth, and Nose

Okay, not quite the same. I was just trying to take a picture of Zack's ear because our last few days have consisted of sick kids and an ear infection.But, I caught a couple of other of my kids cute features!

Curly hair. I am a little excited because mine is straight! I hope I have a girl whose hair grows as fast and as curly!

Did You Hear That?!

Today Levi's new way to change the subject on me is, "Did you hear that?!" There will be nothing going on and he will give me this face, pointing at nothing, and say that. Usually this happens when he is in trouble. What a cute little stinker.

Zack's Walk

We practice walking with Zack by having him walk in between us. He caught on on January 1st taking his first couple of steps independently. What a way to start out the year! He obviously is not running yet, but my baby is starting to walk! He has a few times let go of the couch and taken a few steps to me or something nearby. He really is on the same timeline as Levi was on all of their milestones. Very easy to remember:)

Now this video I had to just post because I thought it was funny. This is my nephew Jonathan going down this pretty steep and icy hill when we went sledding in Utah. He is a fearless five year old going of a big jump. I laughed so hard after I found out he was okay!

Where's My Daddy?

Levi loves his daddy. He enjoyed every second he had throughout Christmas break with his dad. This entire week the first thing he says when he wakes up is, "Where's my Daddy?" He will do anything if Daddy is doing it. So here is a tribute to Levi and his Daddy!

Christmas Comes Only Once A Year:(

I am VERY sad to say Christmas vacation is over. We had an amazing time with family and we were sad to leave and drive our 11 hours back to Mesa. We spent the time in Utah with both sides of our families. Here are the pictures to show many fun times we had with them! I told some people when we got back that it is better to leave wanting more time than to leave feeling that it was enough. I don't think I will EVER have enough family time. Which I think I have become to learn not to take advantage of having them close by EVER again. We love you all and we can not wait to see you again!

Levi was so excited the morning he woke up after arriving. He was so excited to go play in the snow that when he saw my dad put his shoes on he ran upstairs and put his own on backwards and ran to the door yelling he wanted to play in the snow too! He NEVER puts his own shoes on so this says a lot!
