It's Always Fun When Grandpa Comes, When Grandpa (And Grandma) Comes Our Way...Hooray!

I couldn't think of a grandma song at the moment!
This past week my parents came to visit. We LOVE having family come down and always miss them when they leave! I had so much fun hanging with my mom and my boys could not get enough of their "gamma" and "bumpa." Can't wait to see you guys again and come again soon. we miss you already.

Bumpa helped Levi at swimming lessons while they were down here. He improved so much this past week and LOVES to swim motor boat with his Bumpa.

The Finished Project!

About two weeks ago I called Dan to tell him about a chest I found for 8$. We wanted a chest to hide all Levi's toys in downstairs so I thought we could just touch it up a bit. Dan tries to warn me about how much time it will take, but he never says lets not do it! So after stripping paint, sanding, sanding some more, painting the inside, staining the outside, putting new boards on the bottom, mudding, more staining, putting on hinges, and of course upholstering the lid, here is our outcome:

The stain was a little darker than I thought it would dry to be, but, we can always upholster it agian if it bugs me later! All in all I think it turned out great. It better have been since it took so much work! Remind me next time to just go buy one:)

Zackary*4 Month Appointment

Zack had his 4 month check-up today so I took a few pics at the park (like always), and here are the stats:
Height 27 1/2in (97%)
Weight 17lb 4oz (75-90%)
Head 16 3/4 (50%)
Levi weighed the exact same (not a suprise since they weighed the same when they were born), but Zack is an inch taller. It will be interesting to see how they compare later! Zack is such a cute baby and smiling and laughing all the time. He is rolling like a rolling pin on the floor and likes to grab EVERYTHING these days. I now have to be careful what I am holding in front of me! He is now getting into toys and loves to look at his fingers and of course then proceed to eat them. Levi loves him and they are getting cuter and cuter together everyday!

Levi gave me a laugh today. I put Zack down for a nap in their room seeing what Levi would do if I left him there while Levi fell asleep. I stayed close by so I could run in case Levi attacked Zack. When I heard some tiny noises I walked in to find Levi sitting in the very corner of the crib, Zack still passed out in the bed, and Levi turns to me, puts his finger to his mouth and says, "Shhhh, Zacky sleepin." What a sweet boy! I really am so blessed to have these two sweet boys in my life. It is a challenge to have two so young together, but at the same time it is so dang fun! They make me smile constantly and I just love their sweet personalities. I am pretty sure they get most of that from their daddy:)

They are already becoming such good buddies. Look how big Zack looks compared to Levi. He is growing up so fast! Love Love Love my cute boys!

Summer Cuts!

We had haircut day today to cool down the boys in this summer heat! Zack's hair was getting really long on the top so I decided to even it up a bit. I love Levi's shag but, he just gets so hot and I don't think the long hair helps. So, I grabbed the clippers and went to work today and these are the results:

4 Months=Rice Cereal

Zack turned 4 months on the 11th, so we started the cereal in hopes of him sleeping better! As for the sleeping, still working on it but the cereal was a success. He likes it more and more every time. I will have his stats when he goes to the doctor on monday. My guess...at least 17 lbs. We will find out!

Tempe Splash Pad

For playgroup this past Friday we went to the Splash Pad. The last time I went Levi was ten months old. He had a lot of fun when he was in the water but, when he stepped out it got windy so he just sat there wrapped up in his towel eating his crackers and watching people.

He stopped in the middle of the slide not wanting to continue by himself... stinker

Rolling Over!

Not even four months old and he did it! He did yesterday but, his little arm was stuck under him. Today he made it all the way! I saw him starting to roll so I grabbed my camera and caught him in action on his first official full roll over all by himself (Levi likes to push him over, but he was taking a nap during all this)! Love catching these special moments.

When Sisters Come To Play!

Warning: Tons of pictures!!! This past week Kellie, McKay, Emmery, and Krista came to see us. We had a lot of fun swimming and hanging out. I miss being close to my family so these times are super special to me. Dan set this whole thing up as a suprise for me and of course, I blew it! He is so sweet and knows how much I love family!
