Ring Ring.....

Levi starts new stuff all the time, so here is the latest. When I say "hello" when he is holding a phone he puts it up to his ear. Also, he likes to talk with his tongue out. For Father's day I got Dan some games on the Wii. Levi LOVES the remotes and loves to play with daddy.

Levi is learning so quickly it is amazing! The last month or so he has become VERY good at imitating you. For instance, yesterday during church when we all raised our right hands so did Levi, here is an example:

He loves to play patty cake with grandma and now does the actions along with her. Here he is patting his cake!

He now signals that he is "all done" eating by doing this:



He is really good at walking now and usually always tries to walk first before crawling. He likes to wave and still loves to give good snuggles. I hope he never gets over that!

Beanies and New Shoes

We finally got a pair of shoes that fit Levi. He grew out of all the ones we have! So here he is getting used to his new shoes...we love Robeez!


Thanks to my twin sister Kellie and the use of Skype, I learned how to make baby beanies. It has been a fun new hobby so here are some of my latest! The Burkholder side of the family is now expecting 3 new additions by the end of this year so it makes for some fun presents too!

Silly Lil Boy!

Levi is everywhere these days so it was very cute to see him asleep in his bed with his little bumb in the air!


I pulled out his umbrella stroller the other day to find Levi on the other end. Instead of riding in the stroller he wanted to push it. We watched our friend's little girl and Levi had so much fun with her.



I also had to throw in a picture I took of Levi after he shoved his head between my knees to get a better look at what I was doing. He is such a cutie! Now you can see why it is hard to say "no" sometimes to that cute little face.

NEW SWIM TOY

Levi loves his boat and I am so glad we got it for him. It will be well used down here in the land of the sun!!!

ESCAPE!

Well, sort of!

While I was folding laundry last week Levi was a good helper and was undoing everything I was folding, so I opened up the hamper for him to play with. He crawled right in and tried VERY hard to get out for awhile. He gave up at one point sitting inside in and the hamper was upside down over him. Out of the corner of my eye I see this little hand reach under the hamper and grab one of the stacks of my folded clothes and snatch it up. What a goof! When he FINALLY got out, he missed the handle and started crawling away thinking it was a successful attempt. What a little goof!
Levi lately has found that he can free up both hands if he uses his mouth to carry his "treasures." I catch him all the time with different things in his mouth. Here are a couple examples:
